I almost forgot, but thanks to the increasing number of flybys in Aircraft powered by either the thunderous  Pratt & Whitney radials or Rolls-Royce Merlins as they scream by my house here in the Chino Valley, I have been reminded that May 14th and 15th is the famous Chino Planes of Fame Airshow.  This years show is a celebration of 100 years of Naval Aviation, and will have over 40 aircraft performing.  If you've never been to the Planes of Fame airshow, you have no idea what your missing.   The huge gaggle of warbirds at the end of the show where they fly over 30 warbirds at the same time is always a highlight.  Keep in mind that if your going to be flying at Prado, keep the planes low and definatley have a spotter keeping an eye out for you.  

BIG Reminder : May 14th is the PVMAC's Early Spring Swap Meet as well.  Your best bet is to attend the swap meet on Saturday, grabbing some good deals on RC stuff,  and at the same time checking out the free flybys from our prado field.  Then  on Sunday, get a closer look at the Planes of Fame airshow from the Chino Airport flightline.
