Prado Field Gets a Weed Abatement
Thanks to Richard Smith, the Prado field
is spruced up and ready for flying. Here are some before and after

Attention Norton Flyers:
The MARKS club will be using the Norton
field on Sunday May 4th from 9am to 12 AM as a practice session for the
RC aircraft flying that will occur at the Redlands airport fly-in the
following Saturday, May 10th.
MARKS is the overall coordinator of
this activity but other clubs, including PVMAC, are participating.

THE PVMAC CLUB WEBSITE IS UP!!!
Many thanks to Teri Vernieri and Larry Marsh for giving a hand and
directions. Its looking GOOD!!!
We have installed a "classified site" for you to help sell those items you
no longer use.
Life is getting better.
For those of you that fly at Norton, I had a meeting with the Airport
Authority today, the story on the trailers parked along our western
boarder. they have a six month lease to stay there. and they will more
than likely renew that contract.
I also inquired about our status at the field since they are looking to
start flying operations within or perhaps late next year, (2009) our
position looks good at this time, we still have a couple of years before
anybody gets serious about use of our property. of course, someone with
DEEP POCKETS could come along tomorrow and decide they want our land.
they'd still have to have all permits and such before we would have to
move.
Our relationship with the Airport Authorities are in Great Condition as of
this minute. Let's continue to keep up the good work at both our flying
fields
Keep your field clean, if you brought it with you, take it home with you
Leave the field cleaner than what it was when you got there
