Get ready for an exhilarating weekend of RC flying at the 18th Annual Wings Over Chino, hosted by the Pomona Valley Model Airplane Club (PVMAC)! This AMA Sanctioned event brings together pilots from all over for amazing scale flying, great camaraderie, and unforgettable fun. Whether you’re a seasoned flyer or just getting started, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

Registration Opens February 1st!

📌 Event Details:

✅ AMA Membership Required – Ensure your membership is current to participate.
✅ FAA Registration – All aircraft must display proper FAA registration markings.
✅ No Turbines – Unfortunately, turbines are not permitted at this event.
✅ Safety First – Every pilot must have a fire extinguisher in their pit area.
✅ Scale Helicopters Welcome – Helis must follow the flight pattern and use the runway.
✅ No Drones – While PVMAC is drone-friendly during normal operations, this event is exclusively for scale model aircraft.
✅ Fuel Spill-Free Zone – If flying glow or gas planes, fuel must be contained—no spills allowed!

🏕️ Dry Camping Information

Dry camping is permitted Monday through Saturday during event week (April 7–12).
This is dry camping only — no power, water, or sewer hookups are available.

Camping is first come, first served and allowed in conjunction with event participation.
All campers must follow field rules and safety guidelines.

Saturday: 🎉 Pilots enjoy a free lunch! Guests and spectators can purchase lunch on-site.

🛠️ Pit Stall & Tent Options

• 23 paved pit stalls available for reservation – $30 each 10′ × 10′ paved surface with built‑in anchor points. Bring your own canopy and tie‑downs.
• Four 20′ × 20′ event tents – $400 each Pre‑installed commercial tents located on the gravel pit areas to the west and east of the paved stalls.
• 2 accessible pit stalls – free on site Reserved for handicap use; first‑come, first‑served and not available for online reservation.
