As we head into a busy season packed with exciting events, we want to make sure all members and visitors are aware of our upcoming FIELD CLOSURES for May and June. During these times, no open general flying will be allowed.

✈️ Wings Over Chino – 17th Annual Radio Control Fun Fly! ✈️

Get ready for an exhilarating weekend of RC flying at the 17th Annual Wings Over Chino, hosted by the Pomona Valley Model Airplane Club (PVMAC)! This AMA Sanctioned event brings together pilots from all over for amazing scale flying, great camaraderie, and unforgettable fun. Whether you’re a seasoned flyer or just getting started, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

📌 Event Details:

✅ AMA Membership Required – Ensure your membership is current to participate.
✅ FAA Registration – All aircraft must display proper FAA registration markings.
✅ No Turbines – Unfortunately, turbines are not permitted at this event.
✅ Safety First – Every pilot must have a fire extinguisher in their pit area.
✅ Scale Helicopters Welcome – Helis must follow the flight pattern and use the runway.
✅ No Drones – While PVMAC is drone-friendly during normal operations, this event is exclusively for scale model aircraft.
✅ Fuel Spill-Free Zone – If flying glow or gas planes, fuel must be contained—no spills allowed!

Want a dedicated space for your gear? Pit stalls are available for reservation—only 24 spots up for grabs! Secure yours in advance for just $25 and enjoy a prime location for the event.

If you don’t get a reserved spot, we do have plenty of space near the tarmac for you to use at no charge.

📌 How to Reserve:

• Stalls are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Pre-register and select your stall number before they’re gone!
• Reserved stalls will be marked on-site.

The Gate Lock at the field will be changed Saturday, January 18th! 

You will need a new key starting January 18th.

Mandatory Meeting for YOU to get your New Gate Key will be held at the field at 8 am on the following dates:

1. Saturday, January 18th
2. Sunday, January 19th
3. Saturday, January 25th
